March 2011

1. A fine time in Ameland.

They were five cold days in the northern island of Ameland but the nice keiko and friendly personalities warmed us up as did the sauna and heated bungalows. In all the seminar in Ameland passed gracefully and joyously concluding as another memorable lent event. Yamashima sensei gave daily morning and afternoon classes and about 100 people attended on the weekend with half leaving for work on Monday.
Still the final two days were a valuable aikido experience and together with the stretching and meditation and shiatsu, the weekend was complete and left everybody content.

On this occassion, Ernesto Ladavas sensei was presented his 6th dan by Leisinger Sensei.
