August 2010

Editorial: Aiki-summer course ideas ...

Summer time is here again and whilst our normal aikido schedules may be on hold, it gives us an opportunity to broaden our horizons and open our awareness to learn Aikido from different perspectives. All around Europe, summer courses are taking place with various high ranking Aikido teachers. Here, listed in this newsletter, are a few suggetions about courses that might interest you in some sunny places.

Mori Shihan teaching at the last CABN summer school, Castricum, The Netherlands, during the period 10th - 15th of July 2010.

In July, the CABN (Culturele Aikido Bond Nederland) had the pleasure to welcome hombu shihan, Mori, 6th dan Aikikai for a seminar between the 10th and 15th of July this year. Mori shihan gave lessons every day and at the end of the course, a yudansha exam took place. About 80 people attended the seminar.

Aiki-greetings,

Lawrence Warry, 4th dan Aikikai
