The Aikido group of Barnaul, Siberia, organised by Alexander Petrov have invited Yamashima Sensei, 7th dan Aikikai, for the first time to Siberia for a three day seminar. Each day will be full of lessons for all levels, for adults and children.
- McGill Aikido will begin its «Spring Semester» next Tuesday, May 4th 2010 for a seven week period featuring Head Instructor Daniel Laurendeau assisted by Jarrod Jogie who is preparing for his Shodan test to be held at New-York Aikikai’s Christmas Seminar in December.
- Laurendeau Sensei celebrated his 25th year as Head Instructor at McGill Aikido in November 2009 with a Seminar featuring Shihan Yoshimitsu Yamada that was well attended by students and Instructors of many Dojos in the Eastern part of the continent.

4. Trip to Japan
The Dutch organisation, the CABN, are sending delegates to Japan during the 20th - 30th of May
for a routine visit to the Hombu dojo and the All Japan Aikikai Embukai. The delegates will meet
Doshu Aikido and the Aikikai International Department for discussions about future deployments of
a hombu shihan for examination and seminars in the summers and winters. In addition, the CABN delegates have been invited by Doshu Aikido to participate in the All Japan Aikikai Embukai with the Hombu dojo's demonstration.

5. CABN Summer School with Mori Shihan
This year's CABN Summer School takes place from the 10th to the 15th of July in
Castricum, Holland under the supervision of Mori Shihan, 6th dan Aikikai assisted by
Leisinger sensei, 6th dan Aikikai, Ladavas sensei, 5th dan Aikikai and Braat sensei, 5th dan Aikikai.
Mori Shihan shall conduct the seminar and the black belt examination.
Included in the list of of candidates, three CABN members shall present themselves for
4th dan examination: Rob Boogaard, Silvia Marton and Lawrence Warry.
